| “In the fall of 2010 we have started a project which involved installation a new 18*43 freeform fiberglass pool, 30*56 retractable pool enclosure by Pool and Spa Enclosures, a large stamped concrete deck, pole lighting, etc..Our process of selecting the retractable pool enclosures was ultimately narrowed down to two companies, both manufacturing their product overseas. We have no regrets in choosing Pool and Spa Enclosures for this project – we loved both our enclosure and the quality of work done.
Alex from Pool and Spa Enclosures worked closely with us to have this project become reality. Besides the main 30*56 retractable enclosure (Laguna model), they also installed a smaller “breezeway”, 11*16, which allows us to get from the house into the pool enclosure without getting outside, and which houses the pool equipment and will also have shower and changing room. Alex has worked with us on the blueprints of this installation, making the necessary changes and often providing a good advise when we were getting into a dead-end. He kept us updated on the delivery timelines and the enclosure was delivered to us on the day promised. The installation team did everything quickly, also within the estimated time. Alex was always available to communicate over the phone, and when we had to have a “conference” of several teams involved in the construction, to resolve a few difficult points, Alex was there as well, before and during the enclosure installation. It’s been four months since the pool and the enclosure were installed, and we have been using the pool almost every day through winter and early spring. When the sun was out in the middle of the day during the winter, the temperature in the enclosure was about 90 degrees, so we only needed to heat the water. Our kids love it, and our friends are coming to us every time the sun is out! Overall we were very happy with the quality of our enclosure and of the work Alex’s company did. We had a couple of service calls after the install, related to the rubber seal between the sections, and the brush seals at the bottom having some gaps. Both issues were resolved on time, and to our full satisfaction. So I’d say both the original install and the support after the installation was excellent. While the installation process was not flawless, as this was a complicated install, and it is very rare for everything to be 100% correct right away, the most important thing for us was that the issues encountered were resolved without much ado, in an efficient way. Although we are generally very demanding and very hard to please, we will not hesitate recommending Alex and Pool and Spa Enclosures to our friends and family, and to anyone thinking about installation of the retractable pool enclosure. | “Since I’ve had it installed (4 months) over my swim-spa. I’m very much pleased with the quality it looks beautiful and increase the value of my home. Also I get the added benefits: Like reduction in filtering because it prevent insect and debris from the my spa, saving money on filters, chemical, it keep the water at the temperature I set, prevents evaporation of the water in my spa and the spa’s pump is not running as much saving on my utility bill compared to being exposed to the elements.When my Spa Sunhouse was delivered it was in a massive crate. But every part was wrapped and protected. It took 5 guys two days 4 hrs a day to install the Sunhouse over my existing swim-spa. Simply because my concrete patio on the back of my home slanted out from my home so it’s not level. Once I leveled the base railing, the walls to the Sunhouse connected easy. the top was installed( it’s heavy) then we locked it down and it looked just great. | “I am very happy with my purchase of a pool enclosure, and with the quality of product and installation from Pool and Spa Enclosures LLC.I love to swim, and my dream was a house with a pool and fully retractable enclosure to swim year round. I have not had to empty the skimmer baskets of leaves since install. The enclosure saves in other ways. Since install, I have not turned the pool vac on, and may remove it. I switched from weekly to bi-weekly service. The technician put tabs of chlorine at a low setting and has not had to add any chemicals yet whatsoever in almost two months. The water is and stays cleaner. Inside is beautiful, like being at a hotel. I have a beautiful view from the front of my house to the back yard, with tall glass windows, and worried the enclosure might obstruct the view. But the design is so attractive it lends an architectural look. With careful selection of finish and design to fit the house and yard, it does not detract but ads. Visitors love it and just think it is cool the way it retracts completely off to the back of the deck. After a small dinner party a few weekends ago, to my surprise instead of retracting the cover, everyone wanted to sit inside! The company took care and commitment to make installation a success. I admit I had my concerns about making such a large purchase on the Internet but the enclosure was delivered and installed when scheduled and is every bit as good as it appears in the videos and pictures!
We live in the northeast and have a lot of trees. When I told people I was getting a pool they said your crazy the season is to short and you’ll spend your weekends cleaning it. | “Recently we purchased a pool enclosure at Pool and Spa Enclosures USA and I just have to relate what an amazing experience this has been from beginning to end.
First of all, the enclosure itself, second to none. I read other people talk about how impressed they were back when I was considering buying the enclosure myself. But really, you cannot possibly describe just how eye catching this structure looks, let alone, how obviously well built it is. Pictures could never do it full justice. I just love seeing friends’ faces when they see it for the first time. The compliments just keep coming. Of course that’s nice, but I have to talk about the real reason for having this enclosure. Now, at our house, every day is a great pool day! My kids are turning into fish. Even I get more swim time in because the pool is always clean now, and chemical balance is a snap. | “I truly can say the enclosure was one of the best things I’ve done. We LOVE it. You were right to tell me that we will not move the enclosure off the pool even in the summer!
My kids absolutely love it and we use it day and night now. I am very impressed with the construction of the unit and how structurally strong it is. We have a lot of gust winds reaching 50-60 mph sometimes coming out of the canyon and the enclosure slices through wind like knife through butter. Also we had the snowiest winter this year, topped all the charts in the snow department, the enclosure withstood all the snow pack without any problems. Overall my wife and I are completely satisfied with the enclosure and are glad we made the right decision purchasing it. We weren’t able to completely finish our pool until spring this year, so we are not sure how long we can keep the pool going in the winter, but I know for a fact my pool season is going to be much much longer than my friends without the enclosure.” |
