Wood Fired Pool Heaters
Here is an exciting new way to heat a pool, virtually for free. Wood fired heaters are the latest and most inexpensive way to heat a pool. These heaters require no additional electric or gas (they contribute to a green environment). Wood fired heaters are virtually maintenance free and have no moving or electrical parts to wear out or need replacing. The only moving parts are the door handles and hinges.These heaters were designed exclusively for swimming pools, but can be used for any applications where warm water is needed: i.e. farm ponds, hot tubs, green houses, etc. One great advantage of heating with wood, there is no chance of forgetting the heater is on and incurring expensive electric or gas bills.Wood heaters work with a very simple process, a fire is built in the fire box allowing the heat to rise too the heat exchanger where water is circulated through. It warms the water by 3-10 degrees at 50 gpm, before it circulates back into the pool. The water circulation is created by the existing pool pump, therefore no additional electric or gas is required.All heaters are made of 10 & 12 gauge hot roll steel, with 1/4″ inch thick doors & firebrick lined fireboxes. They are fully insulated with 1.0″ inch thick fire insulation to provide maximum heat transfer, efficiency & safety; keeping the exterior from getting excessively hot. All heaters are tank less. Your pool pump pushes a continuous flow of water through the heat exchanger, while the fire burns through it.
